U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Joseph Lupardus detonates an Improvised Explosive Device in preparation for a post blast analysis scenario during Explosive Ordnance Disposal Field Exercise 20.1 at the Central Training Area, Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Jan. 15, 2020. PBA’s involve the identification and determination of explosive compounds after detonation to find point of origin and patterns the particular ordnance makes in the ground.
