ATLANTIC OCEAN (Jan. 19, 2020) Sailors assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) air department and the "Salty Dogs" of Test and Evaluation (TE) Squadron (VX) 23 direct an E/A-186 Growler. Ford is currently conducting Aircraft Compatibility Testing to further test its Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch Systems (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG).
