ATLANTIC OCEAN (Jan. 21, 2020) Lt. Dustin Smith, from Levelland, Texas, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) reactor department, participates in a farmer's carry competition hosted by the ship's morale, welfare, and recreation (MWR) in the ship's hangar bay. Ford is currently conducting Aircraft Compatibility Testing to further test its Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch Systems (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG).
