Maj. Gen. Peter J. Talleri, commanding general, Marine Corps Installations Pacific, presents a challenge coin to Beckie Page, assistant manager, Semper Fit Center, in the Semper Fit gym, Friday. Page and Rick Lindsay, an attendant at Semper Fit, assisted a
patron at the center who had a heart attack. While Page called 911, Lindsay stayed with the heart attack victim, monitoring him and giving him a wet towel until the Federal Fire Department emergency technicians arrived. Talleri is also the commanding general of Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D. Butler, Okinawa, Japan.
