The Regional Satellite Communications Support Center-Pacific, or RSSC-PAC, located in Hawaii began providing planning support to Australian and New Zealand Defence forces for Operation Bushfire Assist Jan. 5. RSSC-PAC is responsible for planning Wideband Global Satellite System SATCOM missions and have supported all Australian and New Zealand Defence forces operating in the Pacific area of responsibility.
