200131-N-TB148-0569 ARABIAN GULF (Jan. 31, 2020) Chief Quartermaster Tim Sheedy, assigned to Coastal Riverine Squadron FOUR, ALPHA Company, Boat Team One, mans an M240B machine gun aboard a Mark VI Patrol Boat, attached to Commander, Task Force 56 (CTF 56), during an interoperability exercise in the Arabian Gulf. This event highlights one of the many core competencies that the Coastal Riverine Force provides in support of U.S. 5th Fleet operations. CTF 56 is responsible for the planning and execution of expeditionary missions including coastal riverine operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
