191011-N-DX868-1495 GULF OF TADJOURA (October 11, 2019) --- Sailors assigned to Coastal Riverine Squadron (CRS) 1 provide Anti-Terrorism Force Protection (ATFP) for the USNS Alan Shepard (T-AKE-3) in the Gulf of Tadjoura. CRS-1 is forward-deployed with Combined Task Group 68.6 at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti. The Coastal Riverine Force is a core Navy capability that provides port and harbor security, high value asset security, and maritime security operation in the coastal and inland waterways.
