A repatriation ceremony was conducted for the remains of U.S. Marine, Lt. Col. Paul C. Hudson, retired, at Dulles International Airport, in Washington, D.C., Feb. 5, 2020. Hudson, a Buckeye, Arizona, was one of the three identified United States firefighters who died, while battling wildfires in Australia, when a KC-130 Hercules aerial water tanker crashed in the state of New South Wales.
