Myrtle Beach Patrol Officer (Sgt.) William Jackson has been a member of the South Carolina Army National Guard since 1995. In August 2006, his unit, the 151st Field Artillery Brigade, was activated as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Jackson was deployed to western Baghdad to serve in the Multi-National Division – Baghdad's Iraqi Security Forces cell.
