Army Lt. Col. William Prince Jr., commander of the 838th Transportation Battalion, 598th Transportation Brigade, guides an M-1 A1 Abrams tank off of the ARC Endurance and onto the port of Bremerhaven, Germany on Feb. 20th, officially moving the first piece of U.S. shipped equipment that will be used in Defender Europe. The ARC Endurance is the first vessel to bring military equipment to Europe in support of the Defender Europe 20 exercise, which is the largest deployment of U.S.-based forces to Europe for an exercise in more than 25 years.
