U.S. Navy Lieutenant Christopher Harrigan, native of Schenectady, N.Y., assigned with Underwater Construction Team (UCT) TWO Construction Dive Detachment Charlie (CDD/C), and 30 Naval Construction Regiment (NCR) Commodore Steve Stasick, native of Cleveland, Ohio, shows off his team’s decompression chamber for Exercise Cobra Gold 2020, Feb. 26, 2020, in Sattahip, Kingdom of Thailand. This is a joint exercise between UCT TWO (CDD/C) and the Royal Thai Navy in executing precision demolition for steel and timber targets, exothermic cutting and underwater welding and to perform hydrographic multi-beam surveying. Exercise Cobra Gold 20 is the largest theater security cooperation exercise in the Indo-Pacific region and is an integral part of the U.S. commitment to strengthen engagement in the region.
