FORT LEE, Va. - CSM Maria Allsopp was the 70th inductee into the Col. Thomas R. Cross Parachute Rigger Hall of Fame at Fort Lee, Va., Feb. 24. Highlights of her accomplishments include being the first Army female jumpmaster and one of the first women to serve with the Army parachute team, the Golden Knights. She is considered a pioneer that has left a lasting impact throughout the parachute rigger field, according to the selection committee who chose her for HoF honors.
