U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Howard Geck, right, commanding general, 103rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command, visits Iraqi Army Maj. Gen. Taha, center, Iraqi Army National Wheel Depot Repair Facility officer in charge, at Camp Taji, Iraq, Feb. 25, 2020. Geck toured the Iraqi Army Western Track Maintenance facility and was briefed on how the maintenance operations are contributing to the defeat of Daesh.
Accompanying Geck were Iraqi Army Brig. Gen. Emad, the incoming facility officer in charge, and the Soldiers from the 108th Sustainment Brigade, Task Force Lincoln, Team Blackhawks, Illinois Army National Guard, who are executing the logistics advise, assist, and enable mission under the 1st Theater Sustainment Command supporting Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve to continue building the sustainment capability of the Iraqi Security Forces.
