U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Howard Geck, commanding general, 103rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command, visited Iraqi Army Brig. Gen. Mae'n, Iraqi Army National Western Track Repair Facility commander, at Camp Taji, Iraq, Feb. 24, 2020. Geck also toured the General Dynamics Land Systems facility where they conduct maintenance operations on the M1A1 Main Battle Tank and the M88 Recovery Vehicle.
Accompanying Geck was Col. Gerald Newman, 108th Sustainment Brigade commander, Task Force Lincoln, Team Blackhawks, Illinois Army National Guard, who are executing the logistics advise, assist, and enable mission under the 1st Theater Sustainment Command supporting Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve to continue building the sustainment capability of the Iraqi Security Forces.
