Ricky Welch, a vehicle commander, both with Battalion Landing Team, 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), load an M2 .50 caliber machine gun mounted on a Joint Light Tactical Vehicle while conducting a mounted machine gun range on a Joint Light Tactical Vehicle aboard the Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship USS Germantown.
