FORT BENNING, Ga. – Key leaders at Fort Benning hold their fourth online COVID-19 town hall meeting April 7, live-streamed on Facebook. From right are, Maj. Gen. Gary M. Brito, commanding general, U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence, Col. Dawson A. Plummer, commander, 194th Armored Brigade, and Col. Dave Voorhies, commander, 198th Infantry Brigade. The two brigades train Soldiers for, respectively, the Armor and Infantry branches. Brito told the audience that although there is currently a 14-day halt to shipping new recruits to Army training centers like Fort Benning, those already here will continue to train. Fort Benning live-streamed its first COVID-19 town hall March 17.
