Brent Goering, mechanical engineer for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Alaska District, shows the negative air pressure system installed for the alternate care facility at the Alaska Airlines Center during a final inspection on April 17 in Anchorage. The Corps' project delivery team provided critical response capabilities to assist the state in keeping Alaskans safe during the COVID-19 health crisis. It completed the temporary hospital eight days after awarding the contract and less than 10 days after receiving the mission assignment.
