Chief Warrant Officer 2 Brandon Hewitt, J3 Operations, Task Force Guardian Arizona, Arizona Army National Guard, puts the finishing touches on the first of many surgical masks that will be distributed to the Soldiers and Airmen of Task Force Guardian (TFG) Arizona at the Combined Surface Maintenance Shops(CSMS) on Papago Park Military Reservation in Phoenix, Ariz., on April 10, 2020.
Hewitt said he volunteered to lead this project so that the Soldiers and Airmen of TFG will have necessary personal protection equipment for the mission. The project concluded on April 29, with 1300 surgical masks being produced by the volunteers.
