U.S. Army Oregon National Guard Staff Sgt. Eric Finger, a squad leader with the Kosovo Force’s Regional-Command East Maneuver Battalion, monitors an observation post with a soldier from the Hungarian Armed Forces May 6, 2020, near the northern region of Kosovo.
Finger said, members of the KFOR Tactical Reserve Battalion joined their routine observation operations to share knowledge and best practices across KFOR components.
“It’s important to us [U.S. Army maneuver battalion personnel] to establish relationships with our multinational partners,” said Finger. “We have the same mission and appreciate every opportunity we get to work together.”
KTRBN personnel are composed of soldiers from the Hungarian Armed Forces and are charged with ensuring a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement for all the people of Kosovo.
