U.S. Air Force Col. Benjamin Bishop, the 354th Fighter Wing commander, taxis an F-16 Fighting Falcon assigned to the 18th Aggressor Squadron through water sprayed by the Eielson fire department May 6, 2020, following his fini flight at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. During his command at Eielson, Bishop led the wing through multiple RED FLAG-Alaska exercises, directed the base during the COVID-19 pandemic and oversaw preparation for and arrival of the F-35A Lightning II aircraft.
