Lt. Col. Gordon Ford, executive officer, and Maj. Christopher Krahulec, both pilots with Marine Aerial Refueler Squadron-234, fly a KC-130T Super Hercules aircraft over the continent of Africa during an airlift support mission July 1, 2012. Marines from VMGR-234 based out of Fort Worth, Texas and VMGR-452 based out of Stewart, N.Y., recently joined Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-12.2 as the air combat element to provide airlift support for security cooperation missions on the African continent.
