Lt. Col. Dan L. Howard assumed command of Marine Wing Support Squadron 271 from Lt. Col. Paul Rosenbloom during a ceremony, July 10, at the parade field aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C. "Marines, I look forward to leading you. Your reputation precedes you and I’ve heard of your accomplishments for many months before I had the opportunity to take command," said Howard. "I am grateful to the Marine Corps for giving me the opportunity to lead."
