U.S. service members carry a local woman unable to walk into the gates of the clinic in Thies, Senegal, July 11. The medical care provided by the U.S. is part of Exercise Western Accord 2012. U.S. service members, primarily Reservists from the Marines, Army, Navy, and Air Force are taking part in Western Accord -- a multi-lateral exercise with Senegalese and several Western African nations. The training exercise runs from June 26 - July 24 and involves Armed Forces of Senegal, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Gambia and France.
