East Tennessee native Dolly Parton smiles as she arrives for a special event held Sept. 08, 2004 at McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base, Tennessee. She unveiled a patriotic nose art featuring her image on one of the 134th Air Refueling Wing’s KC-135 Stratotanker air refueling aircraft. The “Miss Dolly” noseart was autographed by the legendary singer and she performed several songs for the Airmen and families in attendance at the special event.
