NAPLES, Italy (May 21, 2020) Capt. Jeffrey J. Kilian, commanding officer Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Europe Africa Central (EURAFCENT), awards Capt. Jorge Cuadros, executive officer NAVFAC EURAFCENT, the Meritorious Service Medal for his unwavering leadership, superb management and exceptional performance. Cuadros served in Naples, Italy for two years and during that time established a Cooperative Security Location outside the Arabian Gulf, relocated the Consolidated Aviation Unit, NSA Bahrain, executed AEGIS Ashore construction and facilities program in Poland and Romania and partnered with Society of American Military Engineers to bring together 220 participants from government and industry for the first Industry Forum in over a decade.
