Spc. Raymond Cobbold (right) and Pvt. Donte Cooper, Soldiers assigned to the Ohio National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 134th Field Artillery Regiment, secure the frame of a greenhouse for an urban farm project May 29, 2020, in Columbus, Ohio. Cobbold and Cooper, along with others in their unit, have been supporting Mid-Ohio Foodbank’s operations during the COVID-19 pandemic since late March. The project supports the food bank’s access to fresh produce and will also be a site to provide community education and engagement on urban farming and agriculture.
