Lt. Col. Brian Robinson briefs members of this year's CAPSTONE class during their visit to the Combined Air and Space Operations Center to enhance their understanding and coordination of Joint Doctrine and Operations Aug. 22. Briefings included service, joint, interagency and multi-national capabilities and how these capabilities are best integrated to attain national security objectives; as well as how joint, service, and multi-national battle space systems are integrated in support of theater strategies. CAPSTONE is an intensive six-week course consisting of seminars, case studies, informal discussions, visits to key US military commands within the continental United States and overseas trips to Europe, the Pacific, and the Western Hemisphere. Overseas field studies involve interactions with Combatant Commanders of US unified commands, American ambassadors, embassy staffs, senior political and military leaders of foreign governments.
