The Washington State University mascot, Butch, visits a maintenance crew working on a MH-60S Seahawk Search and Rescue helicopter in Hangar 1 during a visit to Naval Air Station (NAS) Whidbey Island. Butch is visiting military commands throughout the state in support of Washington State University's Reserve Officer Training Corps and Military Appreciation month. During his visit to NAS Whidbey Island, Butch toured Search and Rescue, Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron (VAQ) 131, the 'Lancers,' and the air traffic control tower.
