Paradise, commanding officer of Nimitz-class nuclear aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70), observes the flooding of Dry Dock 6 at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility from the bridge aboard the ship. Vinson completed a year-long dry docking period during the ship's docking planned incremental availability (DPIA).
