FORT BENNING, Ga. – Maj. Gen. Patrick J. Donahoe, who became commanding general of the U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence and Fort Benning July 17, goes online to talk to the community July 20 via live-stream on Facebook. Among topics he covered were further measures to help protect Fort Benning from the spread of COVID-19, its cordial relationship with surrounding communities, and Fort Benning's vital role in training Army combat forces. Donahoe emphasized the need for Soldiers and civilians here to keep their guard up against the pandemic so Fort Benning can continue to fulfill its vital training mission.
