FORT BENNING, Ga. – During a ceremony reactivating the Army's 197th Infantry Brigade here July 31, the brigade's new commander, Col. Bart G. Hensler, draws off the casing that enclosed the unit's colors, which are being held by the brigade's new senior enlisted leader, Command Sgt. Maj. Victor M. Benavides. The Army inactivated the brigade in 2013, but has reactivated it to increase the ability to train recruits for service with the Infantry through what is known as Infantry One-Station Unit Training, or OSUT.
