Navy Capt. Dan Donovan was inducted into the Chemical Corps Order of the Dragon July 20. Finishing up his assignment to the Standing Joint Force Headquarters for Elimination, Donovan will now be working in Navy Staff as the chief of ordnance programs and policy branch. Upon receiving the honor, Donovan, adding that he was speechless, said, "This is quite a surprise and quite an honor." He said that he has enjoyed his time with SJFHQ-E as well as working closely with the 20th Support Command. The honor recognizes individuals who have demonstrated high standards of integrity, professional competence, and have contributed to the promotion of the Chemical Corps throughout their career.
