Protecting the force from COVID-19 has resulted in more intimate ceremonies due to the need for social distancing, but the 3rd Infantry Division proudly continues Army traditions such as today’s welcome ceremony for Col. John M. Cushing, who returned to Fort Stewart to serve as the division’s deputy commanding officer for support. Cushing was accompanied by his wife Marla, and daughter Katie, the youngest of their three children. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. Todd Pouliot)
