KYOTANGO CITY, Japan – Col. Matthew W. Dalton, 38th Air Defense Artillery Brigade commander, alongside acting Command Sgt. Maj. George S. Rupprecht, brigade senior enlisted advisor, Maj. Blake Benedict, 14th Missile Defense Battery commander, and U.S. Army Japan representatives, extends gratitude to Ms. Hiroko Shigemi, chief of Kyoto Prefecture’s Tango Public Health Department, and Haruo Nakamoto, director general, Kyoto Pref. Tango Area Promotion Bureau, for the Health Department’s role in assisting and providing care to members of the Kyogamisaki Communications Site and discuss COVID-19 prevention measures, ways to improve information sharing, and a way-forward to enhance the U.S.-Japan alliance in the Kyotango Prefecture area during a meeting Aug. 26. The 38th ADA Brigade command team is committed to preventing the spread of COVID-19 in the western region of Japan.
