Lt. Col. Erika Besser (center) presented the 2018 and 2019 Bil Enney Task Force Member of the Year Award to Technical Sgt. Alex Salva (left) and Master Sgt. Nathan Angel respectively in recognition of their exceptional service at the Texas National Guard Joint Counterdrug Task Force annual training August 20 at Camp Mabry in Austin, Texas. Leadership ensured safeguards were in place requiring masks and social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The weeklong event is part of required doctrinal training each task force member must receive to support law enforcement agencies throughout the state to deter, disrupt, interdict and prevent narcotics trafficking, manufacturing and abuse in the community.
