Italian Army OR-4 Maverick Alessandrini, NATO special operations combat medic with 4th Ranger Regiment throws a grappling hook while participating in the U.S. Army Europe Expert Field Medical Badge (EFMB) at Baumholder, Germany Sep. 11, 2020. This was training day 3 where candidates had the opportunity to refine their skills before the testing phase of EFMB. One hundred and thirty soldiers from throughout Europe attempted to earn one of the most difficult and prestigious Army special skill badges which has a fiscal passing rate below 20%.
