The Repair Officer leads and manages Repair Division, which maintains a constant state of readiness in both damage control training as well as maintaining critical equipment throughout the entire ship. Halsey is underway conducting operations in support of security and stability in the Indo-Pacific while assigned to DESRON 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
