Secretary of the Army Ryan McCarthy speaks to reporters at a media roundtable at U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground following the capstone capabilities exercise of Project Convergence on September 23 as Gen. John M. Murray, Army Futures Command commanding general, looks on.
“Today exceeded any expectation I personally could have had about where we are in the process of Project Convergence,” said McCarthy. “If you think about having a discussion with General Murray about this concept just over eight months ago and being able to bring these elements to bear and put it into the form of a real experiment is truly remarkable.”
