FORT CAMPBELL, KY. -- U.S. Army Capt. Sean P. Grimes was a physician assistant serving in Iraq with the 2nd Infantry Division when he and three Soldiers from his unit were killed when an improvised explosive device exploded near their vehicle March 4, 2005. The Captain Sean P. Grimes Physician Assistant Training Center at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, Fort Campbell, Kentucky was named in his honor in 2011. During this year’s observance of Physician Assistant Week, Oct. 6 to 12, Blanchfield staff remembered Grimes, who completed his clinical rotations here. U.S. Army photo.
