Madison Jones enlisted in the South Carolina National Guard as a Motor Transport Operator, 88M, during fiscal year 2020. . In fiscal year 2020 the Recruiting and Retention Battalion recruited 1,105 U.S. Army National Guard Soldiers into the South Carolina National Guard. This accomplishment was more than 101 percent of the National Guard Bureau (NGB) goal for the South Carolina National Guard to recruit during the fiscal year and surpassed the number of enlistments for the organization in at least the past five years.
