Army Pfc. Angel Macias, an unmanned aircraft repairer with 1-2 Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 7th Infantry, communicates with Soldiers learning to operate Textron Systems’ Aerosonde Hybrid Quad drone at a training site on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., June 21-22. The Textron Systems team has fully integrated with the 1-2 SBCT as part of a six-month demonstration to assess the requirements necessary for a drone to replace the current RQ-7 Shadow.
