Hawaii Army National Guard Aviator Chief Warrant Officer 2 Craig Takenaka is the maintenance test pilot for Company B, 1-171 Aviation Regiment from Wheeler Army Airfield, Wahiawa, Hawaii. His mission Aug. 1-17, 2012 will be to test the four CH-47 Chinook helicopters that have been flown in from Hawaii in support of Southern Accord 2012, a U.S. Army Africa mission that has brought U.S. forces together to enhance security, training, and international military partnerships.
