U.S. Army Texas National Guard Sgt. 1st Class Melisa Washington, Kosovo Force Regional-Command East public affairs noncommissioned officer in charge, receives a commemorative medal from the Kosovo Force Polish Military Contingent Oct. 26, 2020 at Camp Maréchal De Lattre De Tassigny, Kosovo. Washington coordinated over five joint public affairs missions with the Polish contingent public affairs office that increased the operational influence and perception. The NATO-led KFOR operation is composed of 26 partnering countries who cooperatively coordinate effectively to accomplish the KFOR mission of ensuring a safe and secure environment for all people in Kosovo.
