This graphic was designed to represent Ramstein Air Base. The "R" represents the first letter of the installation name; the C-130J Super Hercules represents Ramstein's host wing, the 86th Airlift Wing and their airlift capabilities; and the paratrooper represents Ramstein's joint operations throughout the European theater. The circularity is meant to resemble both a propeller and the globe as Ramstein Air Base is often considered the "Gateway to the World". (U.S. Air Force graphic by Staff Sgt. Devin Boyer)
