Cadet Tech. Sgt. Cory Garvin, 17, of Casper, Wyo., participates in simulated marksmanship training at the Engagement Skills Trainer 2000, during the Wyoming Wing, Civil Air Patrol Encampment, at Camp Guernsey Joint Training Center, Aug. 5, 2012. The rainier provides marksmanship training for military and law enforcement using computer based scenarios instead of live ammunition. The encampment is an opportunity for new CAP cadets to learn skills, while more experienced cadets serve as the encampment’s staff, under the supervision of adult CAP members.
