Leaders from Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, the Oak Harbor community, and the Boeing Company, use ceremonial gold shovels to dig the first holes for a groundbreaking ceremony for the Growler Support Center. The center is being constructed as part of the transition from the EA-6B Prowler to the EA-18G Growler. Construction is scheduled to begin in November and be completed in May, 2008, in preparation for the arrival of the first Growler in June.
