Instructors in the Medical Education and Training Campus (METC) Surgical Technologist program conduct a mock laparotomy in an operating room simulator. The METC ST program has recently added laparoscopic and laparotomy procedures to the curriculum in order to prepare its Army, Navy, and Air Force students for what they'll experience in the clinical and field environments.
