(Nov. 17, 2020) Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion FOUR (NMCB-4) use a forklift and a 50-ton crane to guide and drive piles into the ground. NMCB-4 is conducting pile driving for a Short Approach Lighting System for Naval Air Station North Island. Seabees are the expeditionary engineering and construction experts of the naval service providing task-tailored, adaptable and combat-ready engineering and construction forces that deploy to support global Navy objectives.
