201208-N-HI746-1018 DIEGO GARCIA, British Indian Ocean Territory (December 8, 2020) Seabees assigned to U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3’s Detail Diego Garcia and Public Works Department Diego Garcia place concrete to support a 22-ton baling machine to increase efficiency of the installation’s waste management facility. NMCB-3 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
