Col. Elizabeth Duque, former command surgeon for the 1st Theater Sustainment Command, hangs a medallion around the neck of Master Sgt. David Phillips, command surgeon noncommissioned officer in charge, 1st TSC, during his induction into the Order of Military Medical Merit or O2M3 at Fort Knox, Kentucky, Dec. 10, 2020.
The O2M3 recognizes people who have served in an Army Medical Department for at least 10 years, and through selflessness, have made a sustained contribution to the betterment of Army Medicine. The O2M3 was founded in 1982 by the U.S. Army Health Service Command commanding general as a way to recognize excellence and promote fellowship and esprit de corps among Army Medicine members.
